Garagelog ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Garagelog platform at garagelogapp.com — a build journal and portfolio platform for car enthusiasts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, display name, profile photo, and bio when you create an account.
• Google OAuth data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to any other Google services.
• Build content: Vehicles, build log entries, modification details, photos, and cost data you choose to enter.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns (via PostHog analytics), used to improve the product.
• Payment information: Subscription and billing details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Garagelog service
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To process subscription payments
• To display your public build profiles (for vehicles you mark as public)
• To send transactional emails (e.g., magic link sign-in, billing receipts)
• To analyse usage patterns and improve the product
• To respond to support requests

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate Garagelog:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure (data stored in AWS us-east-1)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure
• PostHog — product analytics
• Cloudflare R2 — video file storage (Pro tier)

Public build profiles and vehicle pages are visible to anyone on the internet for vehicles you explicitly set to "public" visibility.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your build data
• Opt out of analytics tracking
